Shipping & Delivery Policies

At Grocery Hub B.V., we are thrilled to serve customers across 24 countries in Europe.

Order Processing Times: We pride ourselves on swift dispatches. Orders placed by 02:00 pm on weekdays are typically shipped the same day. In high-demand situations such as festive seasons and during black friday sales, it may take up to two business days or more. Should this happen, rest assured, we will notify you promptly. Any orders after Friday 2:00 PM & on weekends will be shipped on Monday. Any order outside of Netherlands, if placed after 12 noon, will be dispatched on the next day.

We deliver Tuesday through Saturday(until 6 p.m.)Your package will generally be delivered the next day, provided you have ordered before 2 p.m.

Shipping Basics:

  • Dispatch refers to the parcel being handed over to our courier partners.
  • Delivery is when the parcel arrives at your doorstep.
  • Box Weight influences shipping rates. Larger volume orders may need additional packaging, and we will communicate any such requirements via email.

Location Coverage: Our standard rates apply to mainland areas; island deliveries may incur additional costs. Please reach out to us for island delivery inquiries.

Delivery Partners: We entrust your parcels to reliable carriers such as Post NL and DPD. Tracking details will be provided by email once your parcel is dispatched.

Missed Deliveries (Netherlands): If you miss a delivery, we follow these steps to ensure your parcel reaches you:

  • If the package is returned to us because the customer is not home when delivery was attempted, we will charge extra shipping cost to resend the package.
  • Once the customer receives track and trace code, they also get the option to leave the instruction for changing the date and time, where to drop the package if they are not at home etc
  • When the initial delivery attempt fails given the customer is not home to receive it, the package will go to the nearby PostNL collection / Pickup point.
  • In case the package is dropped at a neighbour's place, a note will be left with the same information.
  • You can use the track and trace code for a convenient time within next 5 days, of receiving the code, at https://mijnpakket.postnl.nl/.

Please note, failure to collect your parcel or incorrect address details may result in additional charges.

For International Deliveries: Our courier will leave instructions for rescheduling or pickup in your post box. We’re here to assist if you need help with this process.

Cooling-Off Period: If you wish to return your order, you may do so within 7 days for food items and within 14 days for non-food items, in line with Dutch regulations.

Returns Process: Should you need to return an item, please email us at info@groceryhub.nl with your order number and also the reason why you want to return. We’ll sent you a Retour shipping label which will enable you to return your order free of charge.

Any complaints about the shipment must be made on the same day the product is delivered. 

For any returns due to wrong ordering, shipping charges will be paid by the customer.

For perishable items refunds will only be initiated if provided with image proof.

If there was a delay in delivery due to customer not being home to collect the package, there will be no refund for any perishables gone bad in that situation.

Please ensure items are unopened and in their original condition. We’ll credit your account within 5 working days post-verification.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Opened or damaged goods.
  • Perishables such as fresh vegetables and frozen products.
  • Any food items after 7 days and non-food items after 14 days of delivery.
  • Insufficiently stamped returns.

 

Disclaimer: GroceryHub dispatches packages on time but we are also dependant on the services of our delivery partners. Depending on the work load for our delivery partners  in different areas, there is a possibilty of delayed delivery by them,which can go upto 5 days as mentioned in their shipping policies.
